Prophecies first published and copyrighted in 1982,
Coming to pass very accurately!
There’s a Whole Lot of Shaking Going On!
Written by God’s friend – Desi JakabThis past week to April 10, 2008 – 5 airlines have gone bankrupt:, and 4 completely out of business: Four in the US & one in Canada. While several others are in Bankruptcy Protection, and American Airlines (the largest in the US) is now in serious trouble as well! Please note the following prophecies:
The following prophecies were first published and copyrighted in 1982: They contain a warning to all of North America and the World!
1. Prior to the second coming of Jesus Christ our weather systems will become so drastic that they were determined as it were – to drive man from the face of the earth. Drastic shortage of food will become a reality in many places.
2. The days are soon now upon us when “All North American Airlines, and All North American Automakers Had All Gone Bankrupt.”
3. In 1981, God showed me the “Great Changes that were coming to the Soviet Block countries and all of Eastern Europe and Russia” but with the “Great Changes” there was a “Great Deception” as well. In the end, I saw Russia (not the Soviet Union) very belligerently break all of the agreements they had ever signed, as I saw this horrible storm (World War 3) coming to not only to the Middles East (as it is today - April 2008 - with Iraq and Afghanistan; etc.,) and other parts of the world, but to North America!
4. Then in 1982 in the prophecies published, Another Oil Crises Coming that would be worse than anything else was also published. I think we are there now (April 10, 2008)!
5. In 1999 while pastoring a small church in Rock Creek, B.C. prophecy regarding “The Slump coming into the New Housing Market in the United States” was distributed in the local paper from Grand Forks through to Osoyoos. (2007 and 2008 - We are there now!)
6. In the mid 1990's I saw a 20 year period of on going wars that engulfed different parts of the earth. I saw a terrible shortage of food and situations get so drastic in places that people were eating the dead carcasses of those that had died and fallen. (As I see it now (April 2008) these wars involved troops from both the USA and Canada being involved directly, such as they have been in Afghanistan: Iraq, as well as all of the middle East, and other parts of the world as well!) These wars as I saw them were on going. Only recently (April 8, 2008) as I was waking up, the words came to me "The War Has Started." With the elections in the USA – Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama wanting to pull the troops out of Iraq and Afghanistan; they do not know what they are talking about! And then the Guru of the New Religion “Global Warming” with Al Gore becoming the leader of the environmental movement regarding the same – Canadian Governments and others are wasting their money and time making him a very rich man! The wisdom of this world is not the wisdom we all need: We need the true wisdom that comes from above, from God alone!
The Bible has talked about the “earth warming up” and being “shaken violently”, as well as the “earth waxing old” very accurately thousands of years ago. Isaiah chapter 24 speaks clearly, as well as scores of other prophecies! Another prophecy given to me by God in 1981, was a president with a head full of white hair in the White House, and with that came the word, “The presidency has sure been hard on the man” (meaning - there are hard times ahead) that prophecy has never been fulfilled! Will it be McCain? God knows! Although, I do have to admit that G.W. Bush has come very close to fulfilling that description.
Many of the American people blame President Bush for the problems of America, but I want to declare that it is God that is shaking America, because of the sin, and corruption of straying away from the Grace of God, and for serving the gods they have made for themselves, and not loving the Lord their God, with all of their hearts soul mind and strength. God is saying to His people who are today in Babylon, the Religious Harlot Systems of men, “Come out of her My people, lest you receive her plagues.” Those plagues are all mentioned in the Old and New Testaments, as well as several chapters that are in the Book called “The Revelation of Jesus Christ.”
You cannot create the gods of silver and gold (as people do, not only in the world, but in the Christian Religious Systems of men) serve them and worship them without paying the price of God’s judgment and anger. “Whom the Lord loves, He also corrects: therefore despise not the chastening of the Lord.” God desires that we all return to our first love, and to come into the fullness of the relationship that He desires from us, which is totally impossible without Jesus Christ through whom the price of our redemption was fully paid! I wish every person would read and get a revelation of what Isaiah chapter 24 and get the fear of God into their heart and life. The Last Great Shakings is just beginning: and will culminate with the Second Coming of the Lord Jesus Christ!
7. The end of January 2006 – 25 years after the original visions given to me by The Lord of Glory - God spoke to me the following: “The Next Great War is much closer than most people realize and when it comes, it will come suddenly and at a time when most people will not be expecting it” The beginning of World War 3.
8. Then I also saw the Dragon rising out of the China Sea, and swallowing up Taiwan. And yes, “There will be wars, and rumors of wars but that is not the end of the story.”
9. In the mid 1990’s I also saw a situation in which I saw a 30 foot high tidal wave coming, but the warning was: “God’s people were not ready for what was ahead!”
10. Then again in October 1998, God spoke these words to me: “There is coming a Great Shaking, but out of the Great Shakings there is also coming a Great Harvest!” The thing that amazes me is how bad do things have to get before the people of God and the world is going to wake up to the fact that it is God that is shaking all things! And in the midst of all that is taking place these events are going to bring true repentance in our day - and yes – revival (a true spiritual awakening) is coming, but not until the hard times come! We are pretty well there now! But the wicked and evil nature that is in man, is also very stubborn, and while those that are going to live for God will shine as the stars in the heavens, the wicked will do even more wickedly than they have ever done, and they will not repent but they will go to the everlasting inferno which was created for the devil and his angels.
And yes Jesus who was and is the Christ is the only One who has the answers to all of man’s dilemma and problems – without Him and without God – man is hopelessly lost! God bless you! Written by God’s friend – Desi Jakab
Regarding Desi and Martha Jakab:
Desi and Martha Jakab have spent the years since July 2000, working with orphans and the poor in Africa. They went to Africa with no support and no wages only trusting in God's faithful provision. Years ago, the Lord taught them to live within their means, and to trust the Lord for everything even their very own existence and so it has been! In 2005 God gave to them the Charity called Feeding the Hungry - Global Ministries. At this present time they have been used by the Lord to help build a small private hospital in a remote area of Malawi: An area that has been devastated the past 7 years by floods and drought - both. The average life span of the people in the area called the Lower Shire is 35 to 36 years of age with many orphans left behind. We have also been partnering with local pastors and churches that are also taking care of and feeding the orphans not only in Malawi but also in Mozambique as well. To help in their ministry and feeding the poor of the earth - and taking care of the poor widows and orphans - as well as helping to finish the project of a very badly needed facility for the area - the hospital: you are welcome to give generously. We are one of the few ministries where all designated funds go directly to where they are designated. We keep nothing for ourselves!

FOOD FIGHTS

The coming hunger
Riots over rising grain prices are ripping through the developing world and the United Nations warns there's worse to come. Was Malthus right? Are we getting too numerous to feed ourselves?
Apr 12, 2008 04:30 AM
Lynda Hurst Feature WriterThe warning bells are ringing, furiously. This week, food riots paralyzed Haiti, with angry marchers outside the president's palace shouting "We are hungry!" Five people were killed in the chaos. In Egypt, a 15-year-old boy was shot and killed this week in two days of violence over food shortages. Last month, a two-week protest at government-subsidized bakeries ended with the deaths of 10 Egyptians in clashes with police.Rice is the staple food of 4 billion people. But the prices for it, along with corn, wheat and other basics, has surged by 40 per cent to 80 per cent in the last three years and caused panicked uprisings in some of the poorest countries on Earth, from Cameroon to Bolivia. The situation has deteriorated so swiftly that some experts predict the effects of a global food crisis are going to bite more quickly than climate change. According to the World Bank, 33 countries are now vulnerable to social unrest and political instability because of food insecurity – and that has implications for all the rest. Major rice producers like China, Cambodia and Vietnam are already battening down, curbing exports to ensure supplies for their own populations. The Philippines, whose population has grown from 60 million to almost 90 million in 17 years, is warning rice hoarders they'll be charged with economic sabotage. Why is it happening? Was Malthus right when he said the world would eventually be too populated to feed itself? The United Nations already provides food for 73 million people in 78 countries worldwide. But the planet is getting hungrier. At least 4 million more people are being added to the list, most of them living in high-density, Third World cities. The new face of hunger – and thirst – is overwhelmingly urban. It takes 1,000 tonnes of water to produce one tonne of food, but water scarcity is affecting supplies. And, as Lester Brown, president of Earth Policy Institute in Washington, has cautioned: "A future of water shortages will be a future of food shortages."The current crisis was ignited by a number of elements coming together in deadly tandem. Analysts say the most important one – the jump in global fuel prices – has triggered a chain reaction in the entire food-production system, from seed planting right through to the delivery process. The world has been down this road before, of course. In 1973-74, OPEC (Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries) quadrupled the world price of oil, resulting in spiralling food prices and distribution snarls. The disaster led to a World Food Summit in 1976, but nothing was done to prevent it happening again.Today's crisis is even worse because biofuels, a factor unanticipated in the mid-'70s, has been added to the mix, says David Bell, emeritus professor of environmental studies at York University."A false environmental sensibility has led to a push on biofuel production and corn is the product of choice," he says. "There's been a significant diversion of crops away from food use."The corn needed to produce ethanol fuel has to be grown somewhere and when land available for food farming is converted, food prices are pushed up: "That's what's tripped off the food riots this time."And the environmental benefits of corn fuel, he scathingly adds, are "completely illusory."Throw in the new and exploding demand for meat in economically booming China and India and even more land is being converted – for cattle, and the feeding thereof.Climate change is also making its toxic contribution. Major droughts have hit wheat-producing nations such as Australia and Ukraine, leading to a 30-year low in the world's wheat inventories. This week, John Holmes, the UN's top humanitarian and emergency relief co-ordinator, warned that the number of global "extreme weather" disasters has doubled in the past two decades to 400 a year. What's building in consequence of all these factors, he said, is a "perfect storm.""The security implications should not be underestimated ...Current food price trends are likely to increase sharply both the incidence and depth of food insecurity."In other words, this week's food riots may be just a foreshadowing of what looms ahead in the not-so-distant future. It took all of human history for the world to reach a population of 2.5 billion in 1950. Half a century later, it's risen to more than 6.5 billion. By 2030, it's expected to reach 8.2 billion, and by 2050, a staggering 9 to 12 billion. Can the world sustain that number of people?A UN report says we are already living beyond the planet's means – just as Thomas Malthus warned could occur. The early 19th-century British demographer and political economist believed population growth was exponential and man's "struggle for existence" eventually would outstrip Earth's capacity to sustain it.Malthus's thinking influenced Charles Darwin's evolutionary theory, but it also led to nightmare scenarios. In 1968, American biologist Paul Ehrlich notoriously predicted that by the 1980s, hundreds of millions would die because of overpopulation and subsequent lack of food. It didn't happen. Not only did Ehrlich take a drubbing, but Malthus's theory did, as well.Critics have continually insisted that Malthus was too pessimistic. Humans would always find alternatives to resources that have been exhausted, they say, develop new technologies to improve crop yield. But how far, asks David Bell, can substitution go?After having dismissed Malthus, people are starting to talk about him again, he says. "His warning of a crash as a possible outcome may not be that far wrong. Ultimately, more mouths to feed is going to exacerbate political pressures. There will be more failed societies."Today, projections are that, by 2030, global agriculture/agribusiness will have to double its output – and use less water to do it. Fish as a food source? Every fishery in the world is expected to have collapsed within 25 to 50 years, says Bell. The UN's food program has launched an appeal to boost its budget from $2.9 billion to $3.4 billion. But that's just to meet the demands of the hungry today. What about tomorrow?"We're a selfish species," says Bell. "But we're going to have to do things differently."Lynda Hurst is a feature writer for the Toronto Star. She can be reached at lhurst@thestar.ca
